SHIFTY - Carbon Infused Nylon AZ-1/Cara Shifter Cable Bushings
This replaces your old rubber bushings on the shifter cables on top of the transmission. It is a quick 10min swap if not less. It helps stiffen your shifts as there will be no more slop from the rubber especially if your rubber bushings are torn.
Printed with carbon infused nylon for extra strength. Lightweight and strong.
Tested/used on my Suzuki Cara.
Carbon infused nylon is stronger than 6x of ABS and over 15x of PLA prints.
This is better than the two piece bushings as inherently as a single piece it has more rigidity than two separate pieces.
Metal versions of these would be the most durable and rigid but come with “more weight :)” and at higher cost. However I believe that there is a maximum point of necessary rigidity and this provides that amount of rigidity for the purpose.
Kit comes with as a set of two bushings, two 316 stainless cotter pins, and two zinc coated snap rings to hold the cable in place. (Also available with 15-7 PH stainless spring steel now)
Entire kit only weighs 15.6g (zinc rings)! The two bushings weigh 3.2g each for a total of 6.4g
This kit may fit many other cars outside of the Autozam AZ-1 (PG6SA) and Suzuki Cara (PG6SS).
