KeiSport EA11R ECU

64hp not enough? Well it’s your lucky day now. As we all know, there were ‘Competition Only’ ECUs available for our cars. They are rare but they pop up. There are different levels: N1 ~90HP (stock turbo, spark plugs and injectors ok), N2 ~100HP (Requires colder spark plugs, upgraded injectors and a larger turbo like the HT-01), and there are a few other ones I have briefly seen info about other aftermarket ones that were done by other companies.

So how do you go about getting this stuff for yourself? I dunno, probably Yahoo Auctions Japan and hope something pops up. If it does pop up they’re going to be super expensive if it’s a AZ-1/Cara ECU probably north of $1000 before commissions and shipping. Even then you’ll end up getting an original 25+ year old piece of computer equipment where you can’t test to confirm functionality before purchase. What’s great is now you can get a new ECU now. I picked one up from KeiSport once they were released and will be getting into this soon.

The Suzuki Alto ECU is said to be a direct swap if you stumble upon any SuzukiSport N1s and N2s.

The Suzuki Cappucino ECU is not a direct swap even though it is the same F6A DOHC Turbocharged motor BUT the ECU wiring can be swapped to do use a Cappucino ECU.

What KeiSport sells is a Cappucino ECU so in order to use it yourself on your AZ-1/Cara you have to do the wiring mod.

I’ll get to documenting this on video for you on YouTube when I get the stuff and am ready to do it. I will also dyno test and document the improvements. Stay TUNED…. for updates on the blog page :)
