March 2021:
Took a few tweaks but using my own car’s PULL UP decal by the door handle to color match best I can,
The original set can be viewed below. This was an accessory originally listed for 10,500 Japanese Yen. In the gallery below you can see a few pictures from the process of sizing and measurement with the black testers, measurements of the fender decals and the color match attempt.
The original set were also a full clear over the entire decal’s letters making it a one piece construction. This was good for protection of the decal but it was bad because of how it could look over time or resprays. You can see the side decal with damage over time below and how it is 1 piece clear over all the letters. Photos from Used Parts Japan with the side panel up close.
June 2021:
Decals replicated and ready for sale!
Check out the reproduction below. The small decals have extras included in case they get messed up over time. These decals look better because they are individual letters without the clear over them. It is an automotive grade vinyl and should last many years.
The original was asymmetrical on either side. A mirrored version was offered to set it so the AZ-1 is placed directly in front of the rear wheel on both sides.
October 2021:
The CARA rear decal was redrawn, reproduced and available! Done in black as a sample. This was done in anticipation for when I get my car repainted properly. At some point my car had it’s decals poorly taped up and sprayed over.
March 2022:
The MAZDASPEED side decal was redrawn, reproduced and also available! Some cars had this on the side instead of the whole MICRO EXCITING COUPE thing. Check it out!

April 2022:
Modified the full AZ-1 decal set to fit my Suzuki Cara. Swapped AZ-1 out with an appropriately sized CARA decal to fit to scale. It does make the decal about 5-6” longer than the AZ-1 one but I think it looks good! The same set is available in mirrored and non mirrored too!
I put the mirrored set on my car, see the pics below!
